Now that I've forged my way through a 440 deviation backlog and uploaded my only decent sketches, I'm wondering: Should I make an alt account for photography, or just use this for both?
The drawbacks: Another account to forget about for months on end. D= And the simple fact that it would be only for photography makes it likely to be neglected, as resizing/cropping photos is a process that I really don't like. People who like both my art and my photography may get annoyed with having an extra account to watch.
The benefits: On the other hand, the front page won't run the risk of only showing one or the other, so people who are more interested in photography won't think I have only sketches and vice/versa. Someone who's interested in just one or other would only have to watch the account that interests them.
So, basically, to go the lazy route would be to leave it the same; to go the possibly--but-not-necessarily-more-convenient-for-some-watchers route would be to make the alt.
So I don't know.
